Our Story
Our story goes back a long way. It was in 1981 that our founder Vasilis Poulis breathed life to what was to become the company of today – but the story goes further back. As a child, Vasilis Poulis always felt an irresistible draw to the profession of electrician. He soon started to work alongside accomplished electricians to learn the job and its secrets, but in parallel he was dreaming big.
It was not long later that he was working on his own, hiring more people along the way as the quality of his work was recognised by the market. From day one, he had his eye set on the future and evolving technologies, a focus that was to become central to the philosophy of the company that he created.
Another focus was that of expansion. Starting from conventional residential projects and moving into industrial spaces, mid-tension substations and special demand applications, the company went from strength to strength as time went by, to gradually become the point of reference in its field of operations. This, combined with the developing demands that came along with the technological advancements in the industry, led inevitably to the expansion into of related fields. It was so that after 15 years of successful operation into electrical construction and engineering projects that the company moved also into security systems as well as fire detection and prevention.
In 2015, it was time for the second generation to take over as the three children of the founder took the helm of the business. This move was combined with the acquisition of state-of the art equipment for fiber optics, as well as the surefooted expansion into the highly promising field of building automation.
This is the story so far – but this is far from being the whole story. We see these first years as just the beginning of something even bigger and more promising.
